Guy Chaddock is very fine furniture. It is a very customizable product when purchased new and it has a very appealing style. However, it is also quite expensive. In addition, the lead times from the time an order is placed to the time of delivery is very long with Guy Chaddock.

This walnut Henredon china cabinet is our Deal
of the Week.
This cabinet is an elegant beauty as it has very nice contrasting wood grains. Constructed with mostly walnut veneers, a nice inlay bands around the edges of the doors. The wood panels on the doors on the bottom section raise out and provide a high end look to the cabinet.
The glass doors with the arched tops and bottom make the cabinet traditional and authentic. This Henredon china cabinet would be great in a dining room, but could also go well in a foyer, living room or entry way.
At the price of $1,175 this cabinet would look good about anywhere!

This 1950s Mahogany Partners Desk is a beautiful piece of furniture. Symmetrical on both sides in terms of drawers and cabinet doors, this desk is full functional from both sides. The desk measures 80" Wide X 46" deep and 31.5" High. Priced at $3,499, this desk is a true gem in terms of its size and beauty. The leather top is in very good condition and overall the desk has lots of very nice characteristics. The feet are carved and there are a lot of nice hand carved moldings along the sides and edges of the desk.
Despite the gargantuan size of the desk, it is easily transported as it disassembles into three pieces. 
The top lifts off the pedestals and are separate. As a result, this desk can fit through small doorways and can go up stairs. In fact, this desk will be able to fit into places where smaller desks could not because of the way that it disassembles.

Chair manufacturing has dramatically changed in the last ten years. Not too long ago, crafting a quality chair was a heavily involved and time consuming process. High end manufacturers still take the time to hand carve and custom construct beautiful chairs, but they are labor intensive with skilled craftsman. The end result is a nice chair with a hefty price tag that will look great for generations.
In the modern era of chair construction, engineered woods are machine turned overseas and packed into a kit that is assembled with hex screws in a warehouse. The result is an inexpensive chair with weak construction. When, the screws loosen and an enthusiastic guest rocks slightly back and forth, your guest may find himself planted on the ground with his chair in pieces.
This set of (8) arm chairs by Kimball International are excellent construction built from solid cherry woods. They are hand carved by skilled craftsman and are extremely sturdy. Furniture makers of yesteryear would praise these chairs. They are an excellent price at $899 for the set which converts to $112 per chair. That is a far cry from the hundreds of dollars you would have to pay for a similar styled and constructed chair in today's marketplace.
