Our piece of the week centers around (2) custom solid cherry bookcases. They are $1,699 each and are items 2333-3 and 2333-4 in our inventory. We pulled them out from a Wellesley Tudor where they were positioned on the opposite side of the entry to a study. They looked great, just like custom built-ins.
These bookcases would be perfect in lieu of commissioning a craftsman to build custom pieces. Doing something similar through custom woodworking comes
with some hefty costs. So here is what we have done to give you some idea on how to make these bookcases work.
Forget about the cherry finish. Have them your way! We’ve taken some liberties in Photoshop to help you visualize what these might look like if painted. Think outside the box with these bookcases and make them work in your home.
These bookcases are solid 
cherry wood, they have adjustable shelving, brass hardware (which too can be replaced) and moldings that look very high end. Piece these together in your home and hire the finish carpenter (if necessary) to make them work together, you will save a lot of money and you will gain a high end custom look in your home.
They measure 86”wide X 90” high and 22.5” deep.
