It is common for a craftsman who works for Gat Creek to write a customer a letter introducing themselves to let them know he will be building their furniture. And when the project is complete, the same craftsman signs the furniture. That is a very personal and a nice touch.
This particular set is item number 2369-5 in our inventory and has ten chairs and four leaves and it is in excellent condition. The construction is very good. The chairs should hold up very well and the table is durable enough to be used at dinner every night without a table cloth. Gat Creek can be found in some of the furniture discount warehouse stores, but it would be the high end for them so it is really good furniture. We are selling this set for $2,999.99 which is an excellent price!
