That was once Ethan[![uimg 8588](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15660255-jpg/images/uimg_8588.jpg?width=306&height=239&name=uimg_8588.jpg)](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13834-29211ethanallendemiluneconsole.php) Allen's motto and then they really tried to accomplish that goal. With great success they were able to offer affordable, good looking quality furniture, to most home owners. Appealing to the masses was the path that Ethan Allen decided to take. Though they were forced to compete with similar styles, quality and prices, Ethan Allen's dirty little secret was that they knew how to make high end furniture. In fact, Ethan Allen's unassuming nature still has the marketplace underestimating them. Ethan Allen has some great craftsman and they have the "know how" to produce high end furniture. Take for example [this demi-lune console ](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/13834-29211ethanallendemiluneconsole.php)that has a variety of inlaid veneer work over solid woods.[![uimg 8596](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15660336-jpg/images/uimg_8596.jpg?width=255&height=199&name=uimg_8596.jpg)](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13834-29211ethanallendemiluneconsole.php) It is as exemplary as many of the elite brands and it is every bit as authentic and good looking at about half the price. Ethan Allen seems to tease the marketplace when it produces wonderful furniture such as this week's feature piece. [Ethan Allen's current sale price on trhis item is $2,610 a](http://www.ethanallen.com/product?productId=1094&categoryId=8027)nd FCG's price for this same item is $1,799 a difference of $800.
