 Pennsylvania House furniture had a great run as one of the top manufacturers and furniture design companies of the 1970s and 80s. They offered reasonably priced furniture with solid craftsmanship and construction. Many of their cherry and maple pieces produced in that time frame still have resale value provided that the condition is good.

Kudos to Harden Furniture for hanging in there through the hardest of times. The last decade has been brutal on the furniture industry, one that the industry, over the course of time, would like to forget. The economy has put many furniture companies out of business and has many others holding on by a thread.

Harden has also experienced difficulties and has experienced some pain, but they have persevered. Never wavering from their principals of good construction, good design while staying true to its American routes; they are suddenly finding themselves well positioned for the future.
