Fancy beds and the dressings that cover the canopy and the openings indicated the social status and the financial strength of the man. In today's world, hardly anyone uses the canopy tops anymore, but they are still nice even if the curtain dressings are not utilized. Four poster beds are readily available for all persons from various econmic backgrounds and so they are no longer a symbol of wealth. However, there are differences in today's four poster beds most of which boil down to personal preference. Some folks like a bigger, bolder poster that fills the room, while others like a poster that is sleeker and more elegant. Sometimes more is less and somteimes more is, well...more. We have noticed that homeowners who appreciate color and design work would rather see less of the dark wood so that the eyes focus on beautiful fabrics on window treatments, bed dressings and the wall coverings. While others want  to see the wood work. There is no right or wrong, only personal prefernce. And the great thing about Furniture Consignment Gallery is that we have many wonderful four poster beds to choose from at the moment. We have a nice, bold, [turned black King 4 Poster bed](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13998-348323blackking4posterbed.php) or a beautiful [Teak, canopy, king bed](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13982-29411teakcanopykingbed.php) that has rustic, elegant posters and a canopy top. A larger and more brawny [Thomasville 4 poster king bed](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13347-288584thomasvilleking4postbed.php) and a lovely [Hickory Chair canopy King four poster bed](http://furnitureconsignment.com/product/13986-28941hickorychair4postkingbed.php). There are also two four poster beds in Chestnut Hill one that is a Queen and another that is a King. With many four poster beds to choose from, this a great time to make a nice addition to you home. All of these beds are of excellent quality and craftsmanship.     0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/79737/4-Poster-Beds#comments-listing) Topics: [Furniture Consignment Boston](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-boston), [Mahogany Furniture](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/mahogany-furniture), [Furniture Consignment Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-hanover), [Furniture Consignment Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-newton), [Furniture quality](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-quality), [Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-in-hanover), [massachusetts](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/massachusetts), [Furniture Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment), [Furniture Style](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-style), [Furniture](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture), [Furniture Consignment Gallery Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-newton), [Bedroom Furniture](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/bedroom-furniture), [Furniture Spotlight](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-spotlight), [Furniture Care](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-care), [Furniture History](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-history), [bed](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/bed), [4-poster](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/4-poster) ## [Moosehead Furniture Twin Beds are A Deal!](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/76499/Moosehead-Furniture-Twin-Beds-are-A-Deal) Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, March 30, 2012 @ 09: 09 PM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Moosehead furniture is one of our favorite makers who makes no more. You may recall our blog referencing the company titled [3 Past Winners Shine on Resale Market.![1uimg 5874](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15630114-jpg/images/1uimg_5874.jpg?width=258&height=201&name=1uimg_5874.jpg)](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/bid/41116/3-Past-Winners-Shine-on-Furniture-Resale-Market) We happen to have three identical Moosehead sold maple, mission style twin beds. These beds are all rock solid and will withstand and endure some serious punishment from the most raucous of kids. These beds should be strongly considered to outfit your new vacation home or to replace some tired old beds. When Moosehead was rolling along these beds retailed at around $800 each and you can find them for what is likely to be a limited time at Furniture Consignment Gallery for $239 each. What a deal that is! And that is why they are our Deal of the week. You can find many other great deals like this at our Furniture Consignment shop in Chestnut Hill or in our flag ship Consignment Furniture shop in Hanover, MA. 0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/76499/Moosehead-Furniture-Twin-Beds-are-A-Deal#comments-listing) Topics: [Furniture Consignment Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-hanover), [Furniture Consignment Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-newton), [American Made](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/american-made), [chestnut hill](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/chestnut-hill), [Furniture quality](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-quality), [Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-in-hanover), [Twin Beds](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/twin-beds), [massachusetts](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/massachusetts), [Furniture Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment), [Furniture Consignment Gallery Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-newton), [bed](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/bed) ## [Henredon King Sleigh Bed - Piece of the Week](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/73665/Henredon-King-Sleigh-Bed-Piece-of-the-Week) Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, January 13, 2012 @ 10: 59 PM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) ![1uimg 5523](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15629900-jpg/images/1uimg_5523.jpg?width=291&height=227&name=1uimg_5523.jpg)This is one of our favorite beds that we have seen in a long, long time. Though this is a big bed, it does help to maximize the space in the bedroom as the sleigh does not extend too far out. This way you can press the headboard almost flush against the wall. Most sleigh beds have an arched back and as a result you have to alot for more square footage in the bedroom as the bed protrudes further into the room. The footbaord sits below the mattress line and also has very little arch so again it offers more space in the room. ![1uimg 5524](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15629957-jpg/images/1uimg_5524.jpg?width=308&height=240&name=1uimg_5524.jpg) The design tapers out towards the bottom of the bed for a very sleek and modern look. We really like the look of this bed as it is very sleek and sexy, yet it is able to blend in with the more traditional chests and accent pieces. [This Henredon bed is a very good value](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/11527-26382hendredonkingsleighbed.php) and can be had for a very good price at $1,499. You can find great beds like this in our Hanover Furniture Consignment Gallery and also in our newest Furniture consignment Gallery in Chestnut Hill.     0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/73665/Henredon-King-Sleigh-Bed-Piece-of-the-Week#comments-listing) Topics: [Furniture Consignment Boston](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-boston), [Henredon](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/henredon), [Henredon on Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/henredon-on-consignment), [Furniture Consignment Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-hanover), [MA](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/ma), [Furniture quality](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-quality), [Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-in-hanover), [massachusetts](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/massachusetts), [Master Bedroom Bed Sets](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/master-bedroom-bed-sets), [Furniture Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment), [Furniture Value](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-value), [Furniture Style](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-style), [Bedroom Furniture](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/bedroom-furniture), [Furniture Spotlight](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-spotlight), [bed](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/bed) ## [Used Crate & Barrel Sleeper Love Seat](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/73667/Used-Crate-Barrel-Sleeper-Love-Seat) Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, January 13, 2012 @ 10: 50 PM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) ![1uimg 5575](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15630020-jpg/images/1uimg_5575.jpg?width=273&height=213&name=1uimg_5575.jpg)These sleeper love seats are hard to find on the resale market.
