She bought them immediately and then had them recovered in a nice rose petal fabric. ![uimg 9605](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15662096-jpg/images/uimg_9605.jpg?width=253&height=197&name=uimg_9605.jpg) She ordered the table direct from Eldred Wheeler and 8 months later her perfectly matched, tiger maple double pedestal small dining table finally arrived. After a few months of trying to get used to the gorgeous set, she and her husband could not eat a relaxing meal at the table. Too worried they would harm the table, they just could not enjoy it and decided to sell it for something more low key. The excellent pricing combined with the immediate satisfaction of being able to avoid the long lead times to have an Eldred Wheeler product made especially for you, makes this set very attractive.[ The table is priced at $4,800 ](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/14014-46617eldredwheelerdiningtable.php)and [the chairs for $4,000](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/14022-46627setof6eldredwheelerchairs.php). ![uimg 9610](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15662229-jpg/images/uimg_9610.jpg?width=284&height=222&name=uimg_9610.jpg) You can find beautiful hand made, reproduction furniture such as this Eldred Wheeler dining set in our Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover, MA and in our newest Furniture Consignment Gallery in Chestnut Hill.         0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/80608/Eldred-Wheeler-Dining-Room#comments-listing) Topics: [Furniture Consignment Boston](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-boston), [Furniture Consignment Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-hanover), [Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-in-hanover), [Eldred Wheeler](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/eldred-wheeler), [Furniture Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment), [Dining Room Set](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/dining-room-set), [Tiger Maple](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/tiger-maple), [Furniture History](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-history) ## [Hitchcock Black and Maple Dining Set](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/80609/Hitchcock-Black-and-Maple-Dining-Set) Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, July 20, 2012 @ 09: 43 PM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) This circa 1990s Hitchcock Black and maple dining set features Hitchcock's classic stencil work and quality construction. ![describe the image](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15628190-jpg/images/0uimg_6527.jpg?width=240&height=187&name=0uimg_6527.jpg)The colonial chairs are nearly perfect and will appeal to all of those who have always wanted a Hitchcock set of their own. The black and maple was Hitchcock's most popular color choice and those who have them are clinging onto them so we don't see too many like this on the resale market. ![uimg 6528](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15654553-jpg/images/uimg_6528.jpg?width=283&height=221&name=uimg_6528.jpg) T[he dining table with 2 leaves and 6 chairs is an excellent bargain at $1,999](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/13365-288538hitchcockdiningset.php). Not too long ago, crafting a quality chair was a heavily involved and time consuming process. High end manufacturers still take the time to hand carve and custom construct beautiful chairs, but they are labor intensive with skilled craftsman. The end result is a nice chair with a hefty price tag that will look great for generations.     In the modern era of chair construction, engineered woods are machine turned overseas and packed into a kit that is assembled with hex screws in a warehouse. The result is an inexpensive chair with weak construction. When, the screws loosen and an enthusiastic guest rocks slightly back and forth, your guest may find himself planted on the ground with his chair in pieces.![uimg 1730](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15646210-jpg/images/uimg_1730.jpg?width=226&height=176&name=uimg_1730.jpg) This set of (8) arm chairs by Kimball International are excellent construction built from solid cherry woods. They are hand carved by skilled craftsman and are extremely sturdy. Furniture makers of yesteryear would praise these chairs. They are an excellent price at $899 for the set which converts to $112 per chair. That is a far cry from the hundreds of dollars you would have to pay for a similar styled and constructed chair in today's marketplace. You can find excellent prices and great deals like these Kimball International chairs in Hanover's Furniture Consignment Gallery or in Boston's Furniture Consignment Gallery located in Newton's Chestnut Hill village. 0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/76921/Kimball-International-Ladder-Back-Chairs#comments-listing) Topics: [Furniture Consignment Boston](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-boston), [Furniture Consignment Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-hanover), [Furniture Consignment Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-newton), [Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-in-hanover), [Solid Wood](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/solid-wood), [Furniture Consignment](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment), [Furniture Consignment Gallery Newton](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-consignment-gallery-newton), [Dining Room Set](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/dining-room-set), [Furniture History](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/furniture-history), [Cherry Dining Table](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/topic/cherry-dining-table) ## [Stickley Round Pedestal Table](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/76920/Stickley-Round-Pedestal-Table) Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, April 13, 2012 @ 01: 28 PM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) ![uimg 2434](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15647656-jpg/images/uimg_2434.jpg?width=274&height=214&name=uimg_2434.jpg)Stickley Furniture is a house favorite of Furniture Consignment Gallery as we have featured many of their pieces in our Furniture Spotlight blog in the past including[ Stickley Cabinet with Drawer No. 7731](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/53829/Stickley-Cabinet-with-Drawer-No-7731-is-FCG-s-Piece-of-The-Week), [Stickley Columbus Avenue Sideboard](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/55326/Stickley-Columbus-Avenue-Sideboard-Piece-of-the-Week), [Stickley Cherry Valley Welsh Cupboard](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/57761/Stickley-Cherry-Valley-Welsh-Cupboard-Piece-of-the-Week), and the[ Stickley Oak Entertainment Center](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/furniture-spotlight/bid/61190/Stickley-Oak-Entertainment-Center-is-this-Week-s-Deal). As the month of February has the feel of Spring in the air, maybe we'll be treated to an early and extended summer. Outdoor furniture sets are a substantial investment if you choose to go with good quality and design. That is why, even thought we are still in the dead of winter, we made this great cast aluminum outdoor set our Piece of the Week. Our logic is that it is hard to come by quality pre-owned outdoor furniture sets. ![uimg 8461](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15660088-jpg/images/uimg_8461.jpg?width=283&height=221&name=uimg_8461.jpg) Most of the sets that are offered to us have been well weathered and are not very appealing. Others are rusted, have mildew or have faded quite a bit. But this set is none of those things. That is a misnomer and with each passing holiday, those who have decided to renovate their dining room into an office, will regret the move. Nothing is more important in life than families dining together in celebration. Investing in the right pieces for those moments is important, but it never hurts to find a great deal.  [This Henkle Harris solid mahogany table has (4) leaves.](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/10931-25701henkelharrismahoganytable.php)  It is circa 1960 and is quite beautiful.  For $1,499 this is an excellent price.  ![0uimg 1954](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15627721-jpg/images/0uimg_1954.jpg?width=227&height=177&name=0uimg_1954.jpg) Queen Anne or Chippendale chairs would compliment this table perfectly or you could modernize it with some slipper chairs. This table is a nice size to accommodate a big crowd.
