This is one of our favorite beds that we have seen in a long, long time. Though this is a big bed, it does help to maximize the space in the bedroom as the sleigh does not extend too far out. This way you can press the headboard almost flush against the wall. Most sleigh beds have an arched back and as a result you have to alot for more square footage in the bedroom as the bed protrudes further into the room.
The footbaord sits below the mattress line and also has very little arch so again it offers more space in the room.
The design tapers out towards the bottom of the bed for a very sleek and modern look. We really like the look of this bed as it is very sleek and sexy, yet it is able to blend in with the more traditional chests and accent pieces. This Henredon bed is a very good value and can be had for a very good price at $1,499.
