It's not by chance; both of these companies have followed the same color trends. In fact, you may find the same color families introduced in clothing, appliances, furniture and fabric lines across many different companies and industries at the same time.  After reading a litany of publications and compiling the results, I have come to my own conclusions about which colors will be hot in 2010. Without further ado, they are: - Grey tones mixed with light blue, pink and green. The pastels palette will emerge, as people become more conservative and non-committal.  People are starting to bounce back from a struggling economy but are not yet confident. - Some dramatic color schemes like purple and bright yellow with splashes of pink and orange.  This palette will be tropical and somewhat inspired by the earthquake in Haiti. ![Bright Colors](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15647386-jpg/images/uimg_2246.jpg?width=275&height=185&name=uimg_2246.jpg) - The color combination of blue and brown that is so popular now in bedrooms may be replaced with pink and brown.  The color brown will continue to be predominant over a harsh black.  ![Gray & Pink Tones](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15647212-jpg/images/uimg_2244.jpg?width=233&height=220&name=uimg_2244.jpg) - Green in general will be re-emerging again, not only as an olive yellow tone but also as a bright kelly green as people continue to embrace the environment. ![Greens](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/file-15646828-jpg/images/uimg_2238.jpg?width=240&height=168&name=uimg_2238.jpg) If you are struggling with color combinations in your home, bring your ideas and samples in and let's have some fun! Maybe this year's color trends will be the ones that inspire you to re-invent your home. 0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/bid/37433/This-Year-s-Color-Forecasts-May-Prime-Your-Home-For-Change#comments-listing) Topics: [Interior Design](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/topic/interior-design), [Home Decor](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/topic/home-decor), [Color Forecast](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/topic/color-forecast), [Color Consultation](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/topic/color-consultation) [All posts](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/interior-design-blog/all)       ![](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Evergreen%20Images/jay-45.jpg?width=200&name=jay-45.jpg "jay-45.jpg") Jay Frucci, President and Owner, Furniture Consignment Gallery [**Back to Blog Home**](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/) ### Latest Posts **View [All Posts](https://info.furnitureconsignment.com/all)** Search this site on Google Search Google ### Subscribe by Email ### Follow Me --- **HANOVER** 756 Washington St. (Rt. 53) Hanover, MA 02339 Phone: 781-826-5114 Fax: 781-829-9805   Sunday: 12-5 Monday-Saturday: 10-6 **NATICK**  104 Worcester St. (Rt. 9 East) Natick, MA 01760 Phone: 508-319-5600 Fax: 508-319-5601   Sunday: 11-5 Monday-Saturday: 10-6 **PLYMOUTH** 762 State Rd.
