This week we shine our Furniture Spotlight on a pair of mahogany twin beds with hand carved, pineapple tops. The beds are item number 348-203 in our inventory. These beds are made from solid mahogany and are circa 1920s. They have been recently refinished with a dark mahogany stain. The price of the beds just dropped to their final markdown price and are now being sold at $700 for the pair. This is way below market value! Consider that a new twin bed at a furniture store that sells quality furniture would sell for between $400 - $700 for a single twin bed. Yet this pair of beds, which is of greater quality and substance than most beds you can find in the marketplace, are being sold for $700 for the pair or for $350 each.
