[The newest chair is an early American redproduction windsor comb back chair made by DR Dimes.](http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/13531-272712drdimeswindsorchair.php) It is made from tiger maple wood and and the curved back is constructed in oak as are the other chairs. DR Dimes is a premier maker of reproduction Early American furniture. They use old world craftsmanship techniques and solid woods. There are many types of Windsor chairs with various configurations. They were a labor of love for a craftsman to build and the good ones are able to with stand the test of time.
