Furniture Spotlight: Henredon Curio Cabinet

Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, February 18, 2011 @ 10: 25 PM

This week Furniture Consignment Gallery in Hanover, MA features this Henredon Curio Cabinet as our Furniture Spotlight Deal of the Week. This is item number 1790-7 in our inventory.  This cabinet was originally coupled with two other pieces - one on each side. We had a customer come in immediately and purchase the two end pieces. This is the center piece, but as a stand alone piecee it makes quite statement. Henredon has always been known for its edginess and commitment to pushing the limits of furniture design and this piece is no exception. The rounded glass door combined with the oak wood and sharp finish, makes this piece a true winner. According to Henredon's Latest blog Supporting Players, this is a "jewelery Piece" that can take the spotlight. That is why this Henredon Curio cabinet won the spotlight and is our Deal of The Week. We are offering this piece at $1,250, originally priced at $1,999.

Furniture Spotlight: Isenhour Sofa

Posted by Jay Frucci on Fri, February 18, 2011 @ 10: 25 PM
Furniture Consignment Gallery's Furniture Spotlight Piece of the Week is an Isenhour Sofa. Some people may not be aware that we have a few select pieces of new furniture as well as our fine upscale furniture consignments. The Isenhour line of furniture is a wonderful value.  This brand new item is priced at $1,999.99. Baker Upholstery as an example, starts its pricing at $2,795. In fact, we have carried the Isenhour line for nearly 5 years and have never had a problem with their product. The frame and design are comparable to that Baker and Sherrill Furniture.  It is an 8-way hand tied frame, has down cushions, a longer skirt, and is available in over 200 fabrics and a variety of styles. The wood in the sofa frame is kiln dried, double doweled and glued at all of the joints.  The wood legs are engineered into the frame. The quality is excellent and is in a different league from the sofa frames you will find at the big box stores.  This sofa comes with two down, throw pillows with fringe. This particular frame is our best seller.  Stop by to learn more about our custom options.  You can view this piece on our website at http://www.furnitureconsignment.com/product/7140-20801isenhoursofa.php.

Henkel Harris Fairfax Corner Cabinet steals the Spotlight

Posted by Jay Frucci on Sat, February 12, 2011 @ 07: 23 AM
This week Furniture Consignment Gallery is featuring this Fairfax Corner Cabinet by Henkel Harris as the Piece of the Week. This is what we call a "WOW" piece.  The cabinet is item number 2152-1 in our inventory. This piece was too big for a small dining room in a Boston condo and the owner had tears in her eyes as it exited her home.  This is a beautiful piece made of solid cherry with Henkel Harris' special finish - not too glossy and not too flat. They do a wonderful job of blending and applying their finishThe Corner Cabinet was one of Henkel Harris' first pieces that the Henkel family manufactured. Their cherry finish is one of a kind and is one that many other furniture manufacturers try to emulate. It has solid brass hardware and is lighted on the sides. This piece has a lot of storage space and would work well in a dining room or a living room. It is selling in furniture Consignment's showroom for $2,999.00. We love to sellHenkel Harris furniture on consignment. Similar to Baker and Kindel, it is one of our favorite manufacturers.

Mahogany Chippendale Dining Chairs

Posted by Jay Frucci on Sat, January 22, 2011 @ 04: 35 PM

This set of eight Mahogany Chippendale Chairs imported from Italy was originally priced at $3,899.99.  They are now at their final markdown price of $2,499.99, which works out to be about $300.00 per chair.  They are item number 1984-2 in our inventory. They have beautiful ivory upholstery, with gorgeous nail head trim.  These chairs were purchased by a military couple stationed in Europe.  In their travels to Italy, they visited a manufacturing facility that produced these chairs for high end furniture brands.  These chairs are comparable to chairs by Baker Furniture and Henkle Harris. If you were to purchase these chairs new, they would cost at least $800.00 per chair. Watch as Diana explains why she likes these chairs so much.
