This Neoclassical round table and chairs is Furniture Consignment Gallery's Deal of the Week. This set is highlighted with Biedermeijer styling which includes the maple and burled walnut veneers contrasting with black lacquer accents and highlights.

Purchased from the Boston Design Center twenty-five years ago, this set has a bit of fading and wear, but would be well worth a small investment to liven the finish and with that, this set would be a knock-out.

This set does not have a name brand, but is very unique in its styling and is very high quality. The carved backs and feet make this set a high-end winner and it is a fantastic deal at $1,050.00  This set could go in a library, kitchen, foyer, or a small dining area.

Generally speaking, black lacquer, Asian, modern, circa 1980s furniture is very difficult for us to sell. In fact, you will not see much of it in our showroom unless it is a bit different. We have a desk, a coffee table and server that could all fall into that category, but all are nicer than what we would typically see from that era. The same is true for this Drexel Heritage, Black Lacquer Asian cabinet.

This cabinet lacks the sleek modern lines of the more typical cabinets constructed in the 1980s. This cabinet is more traditional with the hard edges. But what we love about this cabinet is the gold leaf back drop, that when lighted displays a very nice effect.  This cabinet has glass shelves and the lighted top illuminates all the way to the bottom.

This cabinet is very versatile as it could be used in a formal, traditional dining room or in other areas of the home such as a living room or in a hallway.  This cabinet is available in our Hanover Showroom for $899. You won't see this very often.  You certainly wouldn't guess that this chest of drawers was made by Drexel Heritage. This piece is one of a kind as the original construction is a 1940s Drexle Mahaongy chest. It was a very common piece and one of Drexel's best sellers in its' day. But it didn't look like this. This chest of drawers was re-built by a furniture hobbiest. The bones

of the piece are of the original circa 1940s piece, but the veneer work is all new. The veneers were constructed by a first generation Italian craftsman who built by hand an inlaid satin starburst on the surface top. He crafted keyhole accents from genuine ivory and designed a hand cut a satin banded inlay that outlines each of the drawers.  The reconstruction process took months of detailed work and the result is a masterpiece. A 

masterpiece of craftsmanship and creativity that belongs in a good home to someone who values this refinished, repurposed and reconstructed Drexel Heritage 1940s chest of drawers.

Our Furniture Spotlight Deal of the Week is this Drexel Heritage Queen Anne Cherry Dining Table. What we love about this table is it's ability to go from a very small 42" oval table to an 82" Dining table that can easily entertain eight hungry people.  This is perfect for someone who has a small living space, but on occasion will entertain a larger group. 

Drexel Heritage does a very nice job of adding subtle carvings to basic styles that differentiate it from their competition.  On this particular table, it has a little carve marks at the top of the leg.  This carving is subtle, yet elegant and it makes it more upscale than an Ethan Allen or Pennsylvania House competitor from the same time period which is early 1980s.  What do we like best about this table? The price!  At $450, this table is in excellent condition and it is a great deal!
