This early 1800s work table is our piece of the week. 3521For Christmas week, this year, we wanted to feature something different and unique that you might be able to put to use this holiday season. we were also looking for a piece that you would need to put in the basement until next Christmas, but rather a piece that could become part of your home. This unique worktable has rounded edges which makes it a natural to accommodate a two way buffet line. Perfect to hold your Christmas meal in buffet style, this server could also function as a useful prep table. It would be great for your kids to do crafts, roll out cookie dough or even use as a gift or a wine table at a party.

Made from Solid White Oak, extracted from North Eastern forests and hand crafted in New York, this is honest to goodness Made in America Furniture.

Mahogany Chippendale Dining Table with 10 Chairs

 Custom built in the late 1940s this solid mahogany dining table has enough leaves and chairs to seat your neighborhood for a feast. This set is currently priced at $7,200This set is currently priced at $7,200and that is a bargain! The chairs alone could sell for more than $10,000 and the table by itself could fetch $4,000 or more.

Though there is no name brand associated with this set, it has all indications that it is very well made. The carved outer edge of the table and the banded inlay are quite nice and add some uniqueness to the set.

The set has been refinished, but could be finished again if a different tone and gloss is preferred. The pedestal bases are quite amazing as they boast a solid mahogany ball and claw that is over sized and hand carved. These types of sets are hard to find and this one is a great deal!

Outdoor Furniture Set "Piece of the Week"

It may not seem to be the time of year to begin thinking about your pool patio deck, but time is flying! As the month of February has the feel of Spring in the air, maybe we'll be treated to an early and extended summer.

Outdoor furniture sets are a substantial investment if you choose to go with good quality and design. That is why, even thought we are still in the dead of winter, we made this great cast aluminum outdoor set our Piece of the Week.

Our logic is that it is hard to come by quality pre-owned outdoor furniture sets.

Most of the sets that are offered to us have been well weathered and are not very appealing. Others are rusted, have mildew or have faded quite a bit. But this set is none of those things. It has been well cared for and has many pieces including a glider, swivvel rocker, coffee table, end table, three seat sofa, table with

four chairs two umbrellas and a chaise lounge.

If your patio set is in need of replacement, we would recommend checking this set out. It is a great value and you may need it sooner than we all think should the weather continue to stay ahead of its normal schedule.

Nichols and Stone Dining Set on Consignment

 Classic early American colonial furniture is a New England favorite in terms of style and quality. There are so many beautiful homes in Massachusetts's that were designed to hold furniture like these pieces. This week we feature a classic cherry hutch and a dining table with (2) leaves and (4) chairs.

These wonderful reproduction pieces were made by Nichols & Stone a furniture manufacturer that was a leader in the community and in its field.

In fact, Nichols & Stone once had a towering presence in the town of Gardner Massachusetts where the very best early American Furniture was produced for the better part of the twentieth century. What separates Nichols and Stone from the pack is the finish, the top quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The cherry hutch is item number 2691-10 in our

inventory and is $1,299. The table and chairs is item number 2691-8 and is $1,899.
