This is two weeks in a row our Piece of the Week has sold after our video production. Our Deal of the Week didn't last very long as we produced our weekly video and then the first people through the door this morning purchased this beautiful server from Harden furniture. They new the great deal when they saw it! We frequently gush over Harden Furniture as they manufacture the traditional basics as well as anyone.

This cherry Queen Anne server has been reproduced countless times by multiple manufacturers, but Harden just does it a little bit better. Their finish is so classy and the brass hardware is very upscale and helps to push this piece into a different league.

The new owners purchased this pristine piece and loaded it into their car. They were quite pleased that they bought the Deal of the Week before it officially became the Deal of The Week.  Pennsylvania House furniture had a great run as one of the top manufacturers and furniture design companies of the 1970s and 80s. They offered reasonably priced furniture with solid craftsmanship and construction. Many of their cherry and maple pieces produced in that time frame still have resale value provided that the condition is good.

Pennsylvania House left behind many satisfied customers from that furniture period and there are folks who are still in search of a nightstand or a dresser to compliment an existing set.

This week, our Piece of The Week, is this solid cherry queen canopy bed which was likely made in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

It is a bit colonial and would look really nice set  up in an Antique Queen Anne style home. The canopy is not too large and the bed as a whole would blend quite well with various types of other furniture such as pine, mahogany, tiger maple, etc.

It's certainly not summer time, but there is always a need for a nice white summer cottage bedroom set. This set which contains a twin bed with a pull out trundle, bedside chest and four drawer dresser was originally purchased at Circle Furniture. This is one of our favorite beds that we have seen in a long, long time. Though this is a big bed, it does help to maximize the space in the bedroom as the sleigh does not extend too far out. This way you can press the headboard almost flush against the wall. Most sleigh beds have an arched back and as a result you have to alot for more square footage in the bedroom as the bed protrudes further into the room.

The footbaord sits below the mattress line and also has very little arch so again it offers more space in the room.

The design tapers out towards the bottom of the bed for a very sleek and modern look. We really like the look of this bed as it is very sleek and sexy, yet it is able to blend in with the more traditional chests and accent pieces. This Henredon bed is a very good value and can be had for a very good price at $1,499.

These sleeper love seats are hard to find on the resale market. This was an excellent idea to make this two seater love seat a sleeper as it is completely functional. The mocrosuede is easy to clean and the sleeper mechanism is so easy to operate. So much so that in seconds, this love seat can accomodate the kids' friends for an evening. It is comfortable and it looks good. And it is a pretty good deal at $699. That is why it is our Deal of the
